It seems Pope Francis needs to brush up on his Tertullian!

It has been reported (in The ChristLast Media, I must note) that the current Pope does not like the phrase "lead us not into temptation...

"Let no freedom be allowed to novelty, because it is not fitting that any addition should be made to antiquity. Let not the clear faith and belief of our forefathers be fouled by any muddy admixture." -- Pope Sixtus III

Steelers Update.

Oh, no! Not him.

Everybody in southwestern PA better
lock their closets...

From the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review:

Steelers sign Najeh Davenport, cut Cobbs
Former Green Bay Packers running back Najeh Davenport signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday.

Davenport, who has rushed for 1,068 yards in 39 NFL games, missed most of last season after breaking an ankle Oct. 9 against New Orleans. The 6-foot-1, 247-pounder was released last weekend by Green Bay.

Davenport is expected to give the Steelers a power running back in the mold of the retired Jerome Bettis.

To make room for Davenport on their 53-man roster, the Steelers released rookie running back Patrick Cobbs, who was acquired from the New England Patriots on Sept. 1 for a conditional draft pick, but did not play in the Steelers' season-opening game Thursday against Miami.

Miller's thriller
Tight end Heath Miller's 87-yard score sparked a 28-17 Steelers' victory over Miami Thursday at Heinz Field.

About Me

My photo
First of all, the word is SEX, not GENDER. If you are ever tempted to use the word GENDER, don't. The word is SEX! SEX! SEX! SEX! For example: "My sex is male." is correct. "My gender is male." means nothing. Look it up. What kind of sick neo-Puritan nonsense is this? Idiot left-fascists, get your blood-soaked paws off the English language. Hence I am choosing "male" under protest.
