I'll take Washington.

Air Force has a great record this year, and I know why The Committee put them in the tourney, but Illinois is just too good.
FINAL: Illinois 78 Air Force 69 - Fyodor wins!


At Dayton, OH on Friday 3/17:

(6)Michigan St vs. (11)George Mason
Coach Izzo has the Spartans tournament-ready. MSU will win even though George Mason might give 'em a scare.
FINAL: George Mason 75 MSU 65 - Fyodor loses! (WOW.)


(3)UNC vs. (14)Murray St
Heels will win big over the Racers.
FINAL: UNC 69 Murray St. 65 - Fyodor wins! (Good job by the Racers to keep it close.)



At Greensboro, NC on Thursday 3/16:

(7)Wichita St vs. (10)Seton Hall
Seton Hall's Pirates are better than you realize. I'll pick them over the Shockers.
FINAL: Wichita St. 86 Seton Hall 66 - Fyodor loses! (So much for that "mid-level teams from power conferences" idea.)

Winthrop is from somewhere down south. I'll take Tennessee.
