It seems Pope Francis needs to brush up on his Tertullian!

It has been reported (in The ChristLast Media, I must note) that the current Pope does not like the phrase "lead us not into temptation...

"Let no freedom be allowed to novelty, because it is not fitting that any addition should be made to antiquity. Let not the clear faith and belief of our forefathers be fouled by any muddy admixture." -- Pope Sixtus III

RE: The Theology of the Body

I don't know if any of you kiddies out there in Bloggerdom have been reading these posts. If you haven't, you are missing something quite extraordinary: theology and philosophy from the 20th century that isn't philodoxy in disguise.

Nor is it written to confuse and confound the reader. So much of what has been called philosophy in the last couple of centuries is nothing more than opaque jargon used to intimidate the reader into agreement or apathy.

The more one learns of Pope John Paul II, the more one is struck by the infinite wisdom of God. There was no greater man in our unlamented last century than the humble Polish priest who was called by God to combat His enemies when the prospects for victory were bleak.

I cannot wait for his canonization.

Pray for us, Pope John Paul the Great.

About Me

My photo
First of all, the word is SEX, not GENDER. If you are ever tempted to use the word GENDER, don't. The word is SEX! SEX! SEX! SEX! For example: "My sex is male." is correct. "My gender is male." means nothing. Look it up. What kind of sick neo-Puritan nonsense is this? Idiot left-fascists, get your blood-soaked paws off the English language. Hence I am choosing "male" under protest.
