The last Gary Glitter update EVER.

All in all, I'd say he got off light.

Viet Nam News: Gary Glitter gets 3 years
Former British rock star Gary Glitter, 62, was sent to jail for three years by judges of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau People’s Court yesterday after he was found guilty of "committing obscene acts against children" contrary to Article 116 of Viet Nam’s Criminal Code.

And for those of us hoping his three years in a commie prison would be like fifty in one of ours, there is this:

Gary Glitter has arranged for mineral water to be sent to his Vietnamese jail for him to wash in. Glitter is also paying for his own food to be delivered to Phuoc Co prison, where he is the only Western inmate. The special treatment will cost him more than $600 a month.

Pop pervert Gary Glitter is to face deportation to Britain once released from prison in Vietnam, where he is serving a three-year sentence for sexually abusing two girls, aged 11 and 12.
