Still bucking for the title of Hollyweird's Dumbest Commie of 1955, Comrade Clowney proves some of his best friends are negroes:

An outspoken political activist, Clooney noted how Hollywood has never been afraid to tackle important issues such as AIDS and civil rights.

"This group of people gave Hattie McDaniel an Oscar in 1939 when blacks were still sitting in the back of theaters," he said. "I am proud to be a member of this academy." (Thanks to UPI - Yep, that UPI - for the heads up.)
