Supreme Court Sides With Pro-Life Demonstrators!

It's about time. The attempted corruption of the RICO statute by Big Babykilling is over. RICO can now be used as it was intended - to put my idiot criminal Italian cousins (and other racketeers) behind bars.

(CNSNews.com) - A law designed to combat drug dealers and organized crime may not be used against peaceful protesters on public property near abortion clinics, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday.

The justices ruled unanimously (Can it be, kiddies? Is there really hope for Ginsburg and Stevens? Nah. I'm guessing blind squirrel and broken watch. - F.G.) that the actions of pro-life demonstrators fall outside the scope of the federal Hobbs Act -- and therefore, the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute cannot be used against them.

"This is a major victory for the pro-life community and removes a cloud that has been hanging over pro-life demonstrators for years," said Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which represented Operation Rescue, the defendant in one of the racketeering cases brought by the National Organization for Women.
