It seems Pope Francis needs to brush up on his Tertullian!

It has been reported (in The ChristLast Media, I must note) that the current Pope does not like the phrase "lead us not into temptation...

"Let no freedom be allowed to novelty, because it is not fitting that any addition should be made to antiquity. Let not the clear faith and belief of our forefathers be fouled by any muddy admixture." -- Pope Sixtus III

Uh...I think I get mail...I guess it could have been sent to Your Humble Servant by mistake.

I'm not sure why, but someone with the Esperanto ("a neutral international language" - as opposed to the war-like Flemish language, I suppose) moniker La Bona responded to my posting of the CRISIS article on the various churches that make up The Universal Church with the following:

La Bona said...
What do you think of Female Circumcision involving removal of the clitoris and render the girl unable to experience orgasm? I got something related at DivenTalk

The latest posts on the blog are about male circumcision, including a mention of a group of idiots who want it outlawed as child abuse.

As a general rule, I will come down on the side of believers, regardless of their faith. After the murderous twentieth century, it is obvious we have more to fear from those who believe in themselves rather than God.

But honestly, man, circumcision (male or female) is not something on which I wish to spend blogging time.

However, I will say I am a big fan of the female orgasm, although I do not believe it really exists.

Kinda like the tooth fairy.

About Me

My photo
First of all, the word is SEX, not GENDER. If you are ever tempted to use the word GENDER, don't. The word is SEX! SEX! SEX! SEX! For example: "My sex is male." is correct. "My gender is male." means nothing. Look it up. What kind of sick neo-Puritan nonsense is this? Idiot left-fascists, get your blood-soaked paws off the English language. Hence I am choosing "male" under protest.
