Phillyburbs.com: Casey found welcome audience among religious voters

WASHINGTON - Sen.-elect Bob Casey wasn't shy about talking about his faith on the campaign trail - and it was a strategy that worked.
Exit polling done by The Associated Press showed that Casey took 59 percent of the Catholic vote in his bid to unseat a fellow Catholic, Republican Sen. Rick Santorum.

The two nearly evenly split the vote of those who said they attend church once a week. (Emphasis mine.)
