It seems Pope Francis needs to brush up on his Tertullian!

It has been reported (in The ChristLast Media, I must note) that the current Pope does not like the phrase "lead us not into temptation...

"Let no freedom be allowed to novelty, because it is not fitting that any addition should be made to antiquity. Let not the clear faith and belief of our forefathers be fouled by any muddy admixture." -- Pope Sixtus III

FREE MAYOR MELTON!

Frank Melton, Mayor of Jackson, Mississippi, is guilty of honestly giving a damn and not behaving as a politician should. His Honor seems to be too much of a man for the pansies-that-be.

He may be be crazy, but "in an insane society, the sane man must appear to be insane."

Non-residents can have Melton!
The Clarion-Ledger - Non-residents can have Melton! It seems to me that a lot of people write letters praising Frank Melton, and most are from outside Jackson. It is easy to say he is doing a good job here because he is not targeting you.

Melton has been good for the city
The Clarion-Ledger - My family has owned a business for 70 years in Jackson. We have had burglaries yearly in the Farish Street business district. Until last year, no mayor had seemed interested. Melton's train wreck is a sad sight
Delta Democrat Times - While we're satisfied that prosecutors are doing the right thing in the case of Jackson Mayor Frank Melton, that does not translate into joy. It's never a pretty sight when public officials take a fall. And the view is uglier when taking into account that Melton isn't some common criminal.

Bond terms rankle Melton

Post Comment Melton: Conditions of bond are for a reason
The Clarion-Ledger - Jackson Mayor Frank Melton is continuing his bizarre behavior. On Wednesday, Melton called The Clarion-Ledger to say he would defy District Attorney Faye Peterson and not comply with the conditions of his bond forbidding him from using the Police Department's Mobile Command Unit.

Melton, politicians not above the law
The Clarion-Ledger - I tried to tell all of my friends and family members that Frank Melton was going to be trouble as soon as he was elected mayor. I'll bet they're listening now.

Melton Supporters Pack City Council
WLBT 3 - Supporters of Mayor Frank Melton packed the council chambers, even addressing the council and the mayor about their feelings toward the indictment. Council members wanted to highlight economic development, but the crowds that gathered at city hall had only one message...fight Frank fight.

Melton Shifts Focus to Economic Development

About Me

My photo
First of all, the word is SEX, not GENDER. If you are ever tempted to use the word GENDER, don't. The word is SEX! SEX! SEX! SEX! For example: "My sex is male." is correct. "My gender is male." means nothing. Look it up. What kind of sick neo-Puritan nonsense is this? Idiot left-fascists, get your blood-soaked paws off the English language. Hence I am choosing "male" under protest.
