At the risk of appearing to be a teenaged nerd...

...I'd like to mention a new Japanese anime series called "Paranoia Agent" that airs on Cartoon Network Saturday nights at midnight eastern.

Well, it's new to us. It aired in Japan in 2001. It seems to be about a young boy on skates who bashes people in the head with an aluminum baseball bat. Some of them even seem to welcome the attacks.

It is too soon to tell if this tale of society's decay works.

Needless (?) to say, this cartoon is not for children.
