Today we honor St. Theophilus of Corte, a Franciscan. Pray for us, St. Theophilus.

Today's Gospel reading is Mark 9:41-50

Here's Mark 9:41, offered as a warning to all those who would harm children, especially sodomites who think hiding as a Catholic priest is the way to go:

And whosoever shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me: it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and he were cast into the sea.
