It seems Pope Francis needs to brush up on his Tertullian!

It has been reported (in The ChristLast Media, I must note) that the current Pope does not like the phrase "lead us not into temptation...

"Let no freedom be allowed to novelty, because it is not fitting that any addition should be made to antiquity. Let not the clear faith and belief of our forefathers be fouled by any muddy admixture." -- Pope Sixtus III

John Kerry basks in the reflected glory of better men once again.

Oh, yeah. Congrats to America's fastest serial adulterer on winning that French thing. Again.

BTW, if you're a rich and famous guy who's tired of his wife and wants to put his immortal soul in jeopardy for the sake of a better bit o' tail, wouldn't you at least pick a chick that doesn't look like a guy?

Seriously, Stevie Nicks is like 80 or something, and she looks twice as good as Cheryl Crow.(above)

Whatever happened to the great tradition of dumping the mother of your children for a supermodel?

From AP via canada.com and Yahoo!News:

Former American presidential candidate John Kerry thinks Lance Armstrong would make a terrific politician - but fears he'd be running for the other party. In France and cheering on Armstrong, Kerry listed the Texan's winning qualities.

"What's made him so special at the Tour de France, and as an athlete, is the level of focus, discipline, intelligence, strategic ability, and obviously: his endurance, his ability to just take it on and go," the Democratic senator told reporters Saturday.

Actually, his heart is about 10% larger than average. He pumps more blood than the rest of us, Johnny. He is a freak of nature, otherwise known as a great athlete.

Those qualities would also serve Armstrong well in politics, said Kerry, who lost his 2005 presidential bid to George W. Bush - another Texan and friend of Armstrong's.

"I think he'd be awesome, he'd be a force. I just hope it's for the right party," said Kerry, an avid cyclist and longtime fan of the Tour de France.
Kerry said he had tapes of last year's Tour delivered during his presidential campaign so he could keep up with the race.

Can't this jackass just go away? Dukakis had the grace (or perhaps he was just ashamed) to disappear after America told him she didn't want him anywhere near real power. (Screwing Massachusetts farther into the ground does not count. Hey, Mr. Kerry-Heinz, there's a job for you.)

John Kerry is the worst example of the totalitarian impulse to run for president since Clinton. No, Gore. No, Hitlery. Yeah, Hitlery. Wait... What about that commie Henry Wallace?

About Me

My photo
First of all, the word is SEX, not GENDER. If you are ever tempted to use the word GENDER, don't. The word is SEX! SEX! SEX! SEX! For example: "My sex is male." is correct. "My gender is male." means nothing. Look it up. What kind of sick neo-Puritan nonsense is this? Idiot left-fascists, get your blood-soaked paws off the English language. Hence I am choosing "male" under protest.
