It seems the evil, reactionary Roberts Court does not know we are at war.

Gitmo is not the county lockup, kiddies. The goat rapists being held there are not commom criminals and must NOT be treated as such. They are our enemies and are waging WAR against us.

AP: Supreme Court blocks Bush, Gitmo war trials

The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that President Bush overstepped his authority in ordering military war crimes trials for Guantanamo Bay detainees.

Rapid City Journal: Beer blockade goes bust

WHITECLAY, Neb. — It was nearly a typical day in Whiteclay, Neb., as a planned beer blockade fizzled.

Instead, blockade organizers and Oglala Sioux Tribe officials agreed to try to find a way to stop the flow of beer onto Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, which has banned alcohol for many years.

At 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sheridan County Sheriff Terry Robbins stood with eight of his deputies in Whiteclay. The extra manpower had been brought into the small town because officials had believed a large demonstration was taking place. About a dozen people arrived midday for the rally and blockade.

“We figured there would be large crowds because of news articles in the papers, but it was almost a normal day in Whiteclay,” Robbins said.

After arguing on a dusty road that serves as the Nebraska-South Dakota boundary, organizers of a proposed blockade and Oglala Sioux Tribe acting police chief James Twiss agreed to try to find ways to stop the flow of beer from Whiteclay to the reservation border north of town.

The agreement halted a planned two-month blockade aimed at preventing tribal members and others from bringing packaged beer bought at four Whiteclay stores onto the reservation. Members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe who planned the blockade and Twiss said they would try to meet — possibly as early as today.

Mark Vasina of Nebraskans for Peace, an activist group that has tried to end alcohol sales in the border town, said the day did not end like he expected it would but that he was pleased with the outcome.

“I think this is a success because we got a commitment from (Twiss) to deal with the problems of illegal alcohol sales,” Vasina said.

Due to time constraints, we now move to further action.

Although organizers and police went home buoyed by the day’s events, two Whiteclay grocers suffered a bad day for business.

VJ’s Market and Whiteclay Grocery officials said they took as much as a $5,000 dip in sales when Pine Ridge shoppers opted to avoid the hassle at the proposed march and blockade. Two women stood at cash registers at Whiteclay Grocery, waiting for customers who didn’t come.

“This is what happens when there’s a blockade: No one comes to buy groceries,” a clerk said, looking at the empty aisles.

V.J.’s Market owner, Victor Clarke, agreed.

“And we don’t even sell alcohol,” Clarke said.

Clarke employs eight people from Pine Ridge to manage and work at his store. He contributes to the Pine Ridge community and is a member of its chamber of commerce, but his business has been hurt by the recent marches as well as the four stores that sell beer and malt beverages.

“It kills our business, but what aggravates me is the intimidation factor that my customers have to go through when they come to my store,” he said.

Clarke said that there are probably 500 alcohol outlets within five miles of the entire reservation. No one is looking at those border towns that frame the dry reservation, he said. Shutting down Whiteclay wouldn’t stop the flow of alcohol onto the reservation, he said.

“Everyone — regardless of race, religion, color or creed — has a right to make their own choices in regards to their own life and what they do. It’s not up to the tribe, the Nebraskans for Peace or the police to make those choices,” Clarke said...

Amen to all that, Brother.

Hey, look over there, kiddies! It's Professional Indian Activist Russell Means!

Also at the scene was Indian activist and actor Russell Means, who pulled his pickup and trailer out from the road on the state line and stopped it across the road into the reservation, indicating that it had stalled.

After an officer approached Means’ pickup, there was some doubt it had mechanical problems.

“I’m not starting anything. I’ve got trouble here,” Means told a reporter. “I think it’s overheated.”

Within a few minutes, someone brought jumper cables, and Means’ pickup started. He then drove away.

Too bad Ward Churchill has not been fired yet. He could have given ol' Russ a lift.

Thank you, Sergeant, for your service to our country and for your courageous example.

CBS: GI Amputee Jogs With Bush
Determination is a living thing for Army Staff Sgt. Christian Bagge, 23, who took a run with the president Tuesday despite having lost over half of his right leg and some of his left leg to a roadside bomb in Iraq.

Christian News Wire: Remarks by the President During Run with Staff Sergeant Christian Bagge

THE PRESIDENT: I first met Christian when I went to Walter Reed -- or Brooke Army in San Antonio, Texas. And he said, "I want to run with you." He was in bed -- he had lost both legs. I looked at him, like, you know, there's an optimistic person. But I could tell in his eyes that he meant it. And after a lot of hard work and a lot of compassionate care, this fine man is here on the South Lawn running with the President. And he ran the President into the ground, I might add. (Laughter.)

But I'm proud of you. I'm proud of your strength, proud of your character. Thank you for your service.

It's an amazing sight for me to be running with a guy who, last time I saw him, was in bed wondering whether or not -- I was wondering whether or not he'd ever get out of bed. There was no doubt in his mind that he would.

Thank you for your service.

STAFF SERGEANT BAGGE: Your welcome, Mr. President.

THE PRESIDENT: Good man. God bless you.

STAFF SERGEANT BAGGE: It's a privilege.

THE PRESIDENT: We're not through running yet. Get out of the way. (Laughter.)

New Orleans Times-Picayune: Looters given 15-year terms

A judge handed down the maximum sentence allowed by law Wednesday to three Kenner residents convicted last month of looting a Metairie grocery store in the days after Hurricane Katrina.

Coralnelle Little, 36, Rhonda McGowen, 42, and Paul C. Pearson, 36, received 15-year sentences from Judge Hans Liljeberg of the 24th Judicial District Court, who said he wanted to send a message to looters that the crime would not be tolerated.

While numerous looting cases have been resolved in recent months, this was the first post-Katrina jury trial in Jefferson Parish involving looting. A jury convicted the three May 2 of attempting to leave the Sav-a-Center at 3711 Power Blvd. with 27 bottles of liquor and wine, six cases of beer and a case of wine coolers, six days after Katrina made landfall.

They were convicted on a portion of the state's looting law that took effect two weeks before the Aug. 29 storm. The amended law set a three-year minimum sentence and a maximum of 15 years in prison for looting during a declared state of emergency.

* As I noted on September 6, 2005, Canadian humanitarian and chanteuse Celine Dion begged America to just let the looters be looters, apparently because she was under the mistaken impression they had never cradled a bottle of booze lovingly in their arms:

"Oh, they're stealing 20 pair of jeans or they're stealing television sets. Who cares? They're not going to go too far with it. Maybe those people are so poor, some of the people who do that they're so poor they've never touched anything in their lives. Let them touch those things for once."

More evidence that WWII is indeed over.

The Warrior Within
by Pat Williams and Jim Denney

From Mr. Williams' May newsletter:

Hello, everyone! In the last newsletter I talked about a man I admire greatly, John Wooden. "Coach" was able to achieve his success by focus less on the outcome and more on the process. His motto was, "Make each day your masterpiece," and as long as you tried your best, you were sure to be successful.

This method worked for Coach as he built the greatest college sports dynasty ever. Many people remember his seven titles in a row, 10 titles in 12 years and his 88-game winning streak. But more than just the stats, people remembered how he did it. Coach is one of the most beloved and respected success because he is a man of character.

When I was GM of the 76ers in Philadelphia, we had a town full of charismatic coaches: Dick Vermeil with the Eagles, Billy Cunningham of our 76ers, Rollie Massimino at Villanova and Dallas Green with the Phillies. One of my favorite quotes from that time came from Dallas Green as he was talking about building a winning team. “We need some character guys around here,” he said. How true. In order to build a winning baseball team, sales team, church team or any other type of team you are involved with, as a leader, you need to surround yourself with “character people.”

I would define “character” as “an ingrained pattern of qualities, traits and moral attributes that define how a person will act in times of stress, crisis or temptation.” For example, a choice man has the character trait of honesty. That means he will not lie, even if he must pay a price to tell the truth. He will not steal, even if his need is great. He will not cut ethical corners, even if he is severely tempted and no one would ever know the difference.

A choice man says “I accept responsibility” instead of “It wasn’t my fault.” A choice man programs himself to do the right thing, not the easy thing. A choice man can be relied upon as moral, ethical, principled and godly, whether in public or in private, whether his behavior is witnessed by thousands or he is alone and unobserved.

To have integrity is to be a whole and integrated person—no masks, no duplicity, no chinks in the armor. The word “integrity” comes from the Latin integritas, meaning “soundness,” which comes from integer, meaning “whole, complete.”

If you have integrity as a man of God, it means you are the same man at home, at work and at church. You don’t pretend to be a man of honor and truth at church on Sunday mornings and then cut corners and cut throats out in the business world the rest of the week.

Integrity is essential to trust. If people know that you are a man of integrity, they’ll depend on you and look to you as a leader. You’ll have a good reputation: “He’s no empty suit. He’s the real deal.”

To be a choice man of humility means maintaining a sober view of oneself and others. Humility doesn’t mean having a low opinion of oneself. Those who continually run themselves down are often the least humble of all. Saying “I’m wretched” or “I’m worthless” or “I’m nothing” is just their way of getting attention!

Genuine humility is a strength, not a weakness. A choice man of humility is confident without being arrogant. He respects himself without tearing others down. He doesn’t let other people determine his sense of self-worth. His ego can’t be inflated by flattery, nor deflated by insults. Mother Teresa once put it this way: “If you are humble nothing can touch you, neither praise nor disgrace, because you know who you are.”

As you build and manage your teams, continue to surround yourself with character people. It will help you to achieve success in easier, quicker and in a more fulfilling fashion.

We have reached the conclusion of Pope John Paul the Great's "The Theology of the Body"

It is truly a monumental achievement. In our age of cheap (even throw away) "intellectual" feats, it is reassuring to know true Philosophy and orthodox Theology still exist.

In the six months since I began posting John Paul II's talks here, I have learned much, but not enough. I can only assume you need his words of wisdom just as I do, gentle reader. I will start posting them again, in order, very soon.

The Theology of the Body: 129. Conclusion to the Series: Redemption of the Body and Sacramentality of Marriage

In his General Audience of 28 November 1984, the Holy Father concluded his four-year catechesis on Theology of the Body with a summary of his conclusions. His catechesis was divided into two parts: the first was a study of Christ's words on marriage and their implications for the redemption of the body, and the second, an analysis of the sacramentality of marriage as presented in Ephesians 5, with added insights from Humanae Vitae.

Conclusion to the Series: Redemption of the Body and Sacramentality of Marriage

At the general audience in the Paul VI Hall, 28 November, Pope John Paul II concluded his four-year-long catechesis on the theme of the redemption of the body and the sacramentality of marriage. Following is our translation of the Holy Father's address.

1. As a whole, the catechesis which I began over four years ago and which I am concluding today can be summed up under the title: "Human love in the divine plan," or more precisely, "The redemption of the body and the sacramentality of marriage." The catechesis can be divided into two parts.

The first part was dedicated to a study of Christ's words, which prove to be suitable for opening the current theme. These words were analyzed at length in the totality of the Gospel text. Following the long-lasting reflection it was fitting to emphasize the three texts that were analyzed right in the first part of the catechesis.

First of all there is the text in which Christ referred to "the beginning" in his discussion with the Pharisees on the unity and indissolubility of marriage (cf. Mt 19:8; Mk 10:6-9). Next there are the words Christ spoke in the Sermon on the Mount concerning concupiscence as adultery committed in the heart (cf. Mt 5:28). Finally, there are the words reported by all the synoptic Gospels in which Christ referred to the resurrection of the body in the other world (cf. Mt 22:30; Mk 12:25; Lk 20:35).

The second part of the catechesis was dedicated to the analysis of the sacrament based on the Letter to the Ephesians (Eph 5:21-33). This goes back to the biblical beginning of marriage expressed in the words of Genesis: "A man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body" (Gn 2:24).

The catechesis of the first and second parts repeatedly used the term "theology of the body." In a certain sense, this is a "working" term. The introduction of the term and the concept of the theology of the body was necessary to establish the theme, "The redemption of the body and the sacramentality of marriage," on a wider base. We must immediately note that the term "theology of the body" goes far beyond the content of the reflections that were made. These reflections do not include multiple problems which, with regard to their object, belong to the theology of the body (as, for example, the problem of suffering and death, so important in the biblical message). We must state this clearly. Nonetheless, we must also recognize explicitly that the reflections on the theme, "The redemption of the body and the sacramentality of marriage," can be correctly carried out from the moment when the light of revelation touches the reality of the human body (that is, on the basis of the theology of the body). This is confirmed, among other ways, by the words of Genesis: "The two of them become one body." These words were originally and thematically at the basis of our argument.

Reflecting on the Sacrament of Marriage

2. The reflections on the sacrament of marriage were carried out by considering the two dimensions essential to this sacrament (as to every other sacrament), that is, the dimension of the covenant and grace, and the dimension of sign.

Throughout these two dimensions we continually went back to the reflections on the theology of the body, reflections linked to the key words of Christ. We went back to these reflections also when we took up, at the end of this whole series of catecheses, the analysis of the Encyclical Humanae Vitae.

The doctrine contained in this document of the Church's modern teaching is organically related to both the sacramentality of marriage and the whole biblical question of the theology of the body, centered on the key words of Christ. In a certain sense we can even say that all the reflections that deal with the redemption of the body and the sacramentality of marriage seem to constitute an ample commentary on the doctrine contained in the Encyclical Humanae Vitae.

This commentary seems quite necessary. In fact, in responding to some questions of today in the field of conjugal and family morality, at the same time the encyclical also raised other questions, as we know, of a biomedical nature. But also (and above all) they are of a theological nature: they belong to that sphere of anthropology and theology that we have called the theology of the body.

The reflections we made consist in facing the questions raised with regard to the Encyclical Humanae Vitae. The reaction that the encyclical aroused confirms the importance and the difficulty of these questions. They are reaffirmed also by later pronouncements of Paul VI where he emphasized the possibility of examining the explanation of Christian truth in this area.

In addition, the Apostolic Exhortation Familiaris Consortio, fruit of the 1980 Synod of Bishops on "The Role of the Christian Family," confirms it. The document contains an appeal, directed especially to theologians, to elaborate more completely the biblical and personalistic aspects of the doctrine contained in Humanae Vitae.

To gather the questions raised by the encyclical means to formulate them and at the same time to search again for the answer to them. The doctrine contained in Familiaris Consortio requires that both the formulation of the questions and the search for an adequate answer focus on the biblical and personalistic aspects. This doctrine also points out the trend of development of the theology of the body, the direction of the development, and therefore also the direction of its progressive completion and deepening.

Biblical aspects

3. The analysis of the biblical aspects speaks of the way to place the doctrine of today's Church on the foundation of revelation. This is important for the development of theology. Development, that is, progress in theology, takes place through a continual restudying of the deposit of revelation.

The rooting of the doctrine proclaimed by the Church in all of Tradition and in divine revelation itself is always open to questions posed by man. It also uses the instruments most in keeping with modern science and today's culture. It seems that in this area the intense development of philosophical anthropology (especially the anthropology that rests on ethics) most closely faces the questions raised by the Encyclical Humanae Vitae regarding theology and especially theological ethics.

The analysis of the personalistic aspects of the doctrine contained in this document has an existential significance for establishing what true progress, that is, the development of man, is. In fact, throughout all modern civilization—especially in Western civilization—there is an occult and at the same time an explicit enough tendency to measure this progress on the basis of "things," that is, material goods.

The analysis of the personalistic aspects of the Church's doctrine, contained in Paul VI's encyclical, emphasizes a determined appeal to measure man's progress on the basis of the person, that is, of what is good for man as man—what corresponds to his essential dignity.

The analysis of the personalistic aspects leads to the conviction that the encyclical presents as a fundamental problem the viewpoint of man's authentic development. This development is measured to the greatest extent on the basis of ethics and not only on technology.

"Humanae Vitae"

4. The catechesis dedicated to the Encyclical Humanae Vitae constitutes only one part, the final part, of those which dealt with the redemption of the body and the sacramentality of marriage.

If I draw your attention especially to this last catechesis, I do so not only because the subject dealt with is more closely connected to our contemporaneity. But I do so above all because of the fact that questions come from it which in a certain sense permeate the sum total of our reflections. It follows that this last part is not artificially added to the sum total but is organically and homogeneously united with it. In a certain sense, that part which in the complex arrangement is located at the end is at the same time found at the beginning of this sum total. This is important from the point of view of structure and method.

Even the historical moment seems to have its significance. The present catechesis was begun in the period of preparation for the 1980 Synod of Bishops on the theme of marriage and the family ("The role of the Christian family"), and ends after the publication of the Exhortation Familiaris Consortio, which is a result of the work of this Synod. Everyone knows that the 1980 Synod also referred to the Encyclical Humanae Vitae and fully reconfirmed its doctrine.

Nevertheless, the most important moment seems to be that essential moment when, in the sum total of the reflections carried out, we can precisely state the following: to face the questions raised by the Encyclical Humanae Vitae, especially in theology, to formulate these questions and seek their reply, it is necessary to find that biblical-theological sphere to which we allude when we speak of the redemption of the body and the sacramentality of marriage. In this sphere are found the answers to the perennial questions in the conscience of men and women, and also to the difficult questions of our modern world concerning marriage and procreation.

If so, it is bad news for the goat rapists and good news for humanity.

AP: Israelis put heat on Palestinians, Assad

Israeli warplanes buzzed the seaside home of Syria's president and bombed Hamas targets in Gaza on Wednesday to pressure Palestinian militants to free a kidnapped Israeli soldier.

Fighter jets also knocked out electricity and water supplies for most of the 1.3 million residents of the Gaza Strip. Three bridges were destroyed to keep militants from moving Cpl. Gilad Shalit, 19, who was taken hostage Sunday by three Hamas-affiliated groups.

Israeli military officials said on condition of anonymity that warplanes flew low over the home of Syrian President Bashar Assad because he has sheltered Hamas leaders blamed by Israel for masterminding the kidnapping.

There are few "leaders" in the world today who deserve a 500 pounder upside his head more than Citizen Assad. It was a crying shame his murderous thug of a father died a more or less natural death.

No casualties have been reported since the offensive began early Wednesday. The army sent tanks and thousands of troops into Gaza.

The Hamas-led Palestinian government called for a prisoner swap with Israel, saying the offensive would not secure the soldier's release. Hamas-affiliated militants holding the hostage previously made that demand, but this was the first time the government did.

Tensions escalated Wednesday evening as the military fired artillery near Gaza City — the first time Israel has targeted that area during the offensive. The army said it was testing artillery units and not firing at specific targets.

Palestinians dug in behind walls and embankments as warplanes launched missiles in northern and southern Gaza.

Residents of northern Gaza, preparing for what they feared could be a long military operation, stocked up on food, candles and batteries for radios as a minister warned of a "humanitarian crisis."

Ha! "Humanity"! The man was not trying to be ironic, kiddies.

The White House continued pressuring Hamas, saying it was the responsibility of the Palestinian government to "stop all acts of violence and terror." But the United States also urged Israel to show restraint.

"In any actions the government of Israel may undertake, the United States urges that it ensures that innocent civilians are not harmed, and also that it avoid the unnecessary destruction of property and infrastructure," White House press secretary Tony Snow said.

The bottom line, kiddies? The difference between Israel and her enemies is that when Israel kills innocents, it is an accident of war. When the goat rapists who hate her kill innocents, they believe their plans were successful.

It really is that simple.

Apparently, Al Gore has invented a time machine for Howie Spleen...

Crosswalk.com: Dean: 'We're About to Enter the '60s Again'

On the other hand, we could bring back muscle cars and burn more gasoline.

America is about to revisit one of the most turbulent decades in its history, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean told a religious conference in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday. "We're about to enter the '60s again," Dean said, but he was not referring to the Vietnam War or racial tensions.

HA! That's exactly what he's talking about. He wants us to run away from Iraq like we ran away from Vietnam and if he can't convince blacks that whites hate them, The Party of Blasphemy, Buggery, and 'Bortion does not have an electoral prayer.

Dean said he is looking for "the age of enlightenment led by religious figures who want to greet Americans with a moral, uplifting vision.""The problem is when we hit that '60s spot again, which I am optimistic we're about to hit, we have to make sure that we don't make the same mistakes," Dean added.

Knowing Howie's towering intellect as I do, I'm pretty sure he's talking about Timothy Leary and William Sloane Coffin.

Due to time constraints, we now move to further action.

Later in his speech Tuesday, Dean appeared to backtrack. "I'm not asking to go back to the '60s; we made some mistakes in the '60s," he said. (This ought to be good. - F.G.) "If you look at how we did public housing, we essentially created ghettoes for poor people" instead of using today's method of mixed-income housing.

Another mistake Democrats made in the '60s, Dean acknowledged, was that "we did give things away for free, and that's a huge mistake because that does create a culture of dependence, and that's not good for anybody, either," he noted, a reference to the Great Society welfare programs created by Democratic President Lyndon Johnson in the mid-1960s.

Heehee! The scary thing is he and his party are still all about buying votes with taxpayers' money.

"Those mistakes were not the downfall of our program," Dean added. (That's a lie. - F.G.) "They helped a lot more people than they hurt. (That's a huge lie. -F.G.) But we can do better and we will do better and our time is coming."

And that last one is the biggest lie of all.

Alternating between references to the "McCarthy era" of the 1950s, which he accused the Bush administration of reviving, the decade of the 1960s and the current era, Dean explained that he was "looking to go back to the same moral principles of the '50s and '60s."

Senator Joseph McCarthy (R-WI) was a better man and a better American than Howie Spleen could ever hope to be. That is indisputable unless you are more interested in your left-fascist agenda than the truth.

That was a time that stressed "everybody's in it together," he said. "We know that no one person can succeed unless everybody else succeeds."

Dean's comments Tuesday came at a religious gathering convened in the nation's capital to discuss ways of eliminating poverty. After stating that America "is about as divided as it has been probably since the Civil War," Dean declared that "we need to come together around moral principles, and I'm talking about moral principles like making sure no child goes to bed hungry at night."

It is impossible for government to be charitable. Read some history, kiddies.

"I'm talking about moral principles like making sure everybody in America has health insurance just like 36 other countries in the world," he added. "This is a moral nation, and we want it to be a moral nation again."

Making sure everybody has substandard health care is what Jesus wants for us? Shame on you, Howie. BTW, why don't you talk about your love of babykilling, Howie, and how that is sooooooooo moral.

As one method of accomplishing that goal, the DNC chairman called on Congress "to raise the minimum wage until we have a living wage in this country." He dismissed criticism of a minimum wage hike as "economists' mumbo-jumbo."

Behold the pallid Democrass version of Christianity: Denying the plain evidence our God-given senses present to us and calling it "mumbo-jumbo"! Next from Howie: THE EARTH IS FLAT!

"We're simply asking to give the people who are working for minimum wage the same raise that Congress has had every year for the last 20 years," he said.

How about we cut back both to 1968 levels, Howie? You remember '68 Howie. That was the year you discovered spouting Leninist-Leninist flapdoodle could get you laid.

Dean also stated that the Democratic Party helped give people "the opportunity to become middle class" during the 1960s.

Wow. He really may be on acid.

"I do think that empowering people to help themselves is what we should be doing in the 21st century," he added, stating that the Democratic Party now emphasizes the value of work.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhaha-hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahaha-hahahahahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha-haahhahahahahaaha!

"If you work hard, you ought to be able to support your family," the DNC chairman noted, and "in America, you need the opportunity to work hard, and that means some level of support from government -- no handouts, but some level of support so that you really do have a genuine opportunity to contribute to the country."

Now hold on there, Mister. Hitlery is doing the fake moderate thingee. Get your own schtick.

The DNC chairman pointed to President Bush's tax cuts as a major obstacle to what he called "tax fairness." He also criticized the Republican Congress for being "the biggest 'big government' government we've ever had," though he did make at least one positive comment about the GOP.

"How about if I'm a wild-eyed radical liberal who is willing to say the conservatives had some good ideas?" Dean told his audience. "But let's go back and make what we wanted to work, using some of their ideas to make sure that the mistakes don't get made again," he added.

"It's nice to see that Howard Dean's hostility to the religious community ends when people of faith vote Democrat," Republican National Committee spokesman Josh Holmes told Cybercast News Service.

Holmes added he was not surprised that "Howard Dean's political perspective is derived from a 1960s counterculture view of the world. What is surprising -- and disturbing -- is that he can urge a massive expansion of government and denounce the Democrat mistake of creating a 'culture of dependence' in the same speech."

Heehee!

"He may want to revisit that mistake to update his talking points and the Democrat policy manual," Holmes said.

Before leaving Tuesday's conference, the DNC chairman thanked those in attendance for giving him "a big lift."

"I came in the wrong door when I first got here," Dean said. "I came in the back, and everybody was talking about praising the Lord, and I thought, 'I am home. Finally, a group of people who want to praise the Lord and help their fellow man just like Jesus did and just like Jesus taught.' Thank you so much for doing that for me."

Rats. That did it.

That last Splenetic ejaculation was too much for me. My eyes and ears are bleeding all over the keyboard.

Memo To The Soccer Purists:

Before you whine about Americans' suggestions for bringing some (Some! That is all we ask!) scoring to the Somnambulant Game, consider the abomination that is the penalty kick shootout. It is a joke and a crime. It would be better to let both teams play on until all the players die of exhaustion.

Behold the tyranny that is man!

Responding to my post on the travails of Iran's female chess champion Shirin Navabi

I absolutely love this women. I think she is the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Its a miracle that such beauty exists! I only wish she could know how I feel, even though I may never get to meet her.

Amen to all that, Brother. She is indeed beautiful and beauty is indeed a miraculous gift from God.

Freedom is also a gift from God, as is Shirin's intellect. Tragically, some men hate God and fear all his gifts. These men must be kept from positions of power.

If you ever do meet her, ask her if she has a sister for me. I'd also like an invitation to the wedding. (I am happy to do my part to make this miracle happen.)

About Me

My photo
First of all, the word is SEX, not GENDER. If you are ever tempted to use the word GENDER, don't. The word is SEX! SEX! SEX! SEX! For example: "My sex is male." is correct. "My gender is male." means nothing. Look it up. What kind of sick neo-Puritan nonsense is this? Idiot left-fascists, get your blood-soaked paws off the English language. Hence I am choosing "male" under protest.
