It seems Pope Francis needs to brush up on his Tertullian!

It has been reported (in The ChristLast Media, I must note) that the current Pope does not like the phrase "lead us not into temptation...

"Let no freedom be allowed to novelty, because it is not fitting that any addition should be made to antiquity. Let not the clear faith and belief of our forefathers be fouled by any muddy admixture." -- Pope Sixtus III

Peter wants to know what the flock thinks.

On October 5-19, 2014, the Holy Father will convene an Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on the theme: Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the Context of Evangelization. In preparation for the Synod, this Questionnaire, along with a Preparatory Document, has been distributed to the National Bishops Conferences throughout the world. The Conferences, in turn, have distributed this questionnaire to the individual Archdioceses and Dioceses with the request that they collect information from their parishes. The survey has been distributed to the parishes, but in light of the extraordinary interest in the survey, it is now being made available to all Catholics.

Important Information:

1. Read the Preparatory Document BEFORE completing the questionnaire. Click here to access the
Preparatory Document

2. The questions were developed in the Vatican and then translated into English, so the phrasing of the questions may be cumbersome. We have made some revisions to the survey to make the questions easier to read, but the questions themselves are unchanged.

3. Every diocese in the world is receiving the same set of questions, so some of the questions might not be applicable to Catholics in the United States.

4. Please reply to those questions that are relevant to you. You may answer the entire questionnaire or just a few questions. Be sure you are responding to the question that was asked and make your answers as succinct as possible.

5. Please complete the Questionnaire on or before Saturday, November 30, 2013.

About Me

My photo
First of all, the word is SEX, not GENDER. If you are ever tempted to use the word GENDER, don't. The word is SEX! SEX! SEX! SEX! For example: "My sex is male." is correct. "My gender is male." means nothing. Look it up. What kind of sick neo-Puritan nonsense is this? Idiot left-fascists, get your blood-soaked paws off the English language. Hence I am choosing "male" under protest.
