Harry Reid to step down?
There's speculation today that Harry Reid is reaching out to Hillary Clinton to take over his position as the Democratic leader (either Majority or Minority) in the Senate.
The analysis I've read so far is that Reid thinks he can be more effective out of the limelight and that Reid "apparently prefers 'whipping' the Party from behind and the side rather than serving as commander-in-chief on the Senate floor."
Really. Maybe the real reason is because the limelight is causing Reid's approval rating to fall rather dramatically . That's the problem of a true blue agenda in a red state...the voters don't like it.
This could be fun...
