LONDON -- The Phonak cycling team says it has been notified of a positive doping test by Tour de France winner Floyd Landis, according to the Associated Press.

LONDON -- The Phonak cycling team said it has been notified Tour de France winner Floyd Landis tested positive for high testosterone levels.
The statement came a day after cycling's world governing body said an unidentified rider had failed a drug test during the Tour.

Landis, a 30-year-old joined Lance Armstrong and Greg LeMond earlier this month as the only Americans to win the event. Landis had never finished higher than ninth in his previous four Tour appearances.
