What in the world could this mean?
NBC 5 Chicago: Obama, Wife Concerned About Personal Safety
He's everywhere these days -- from New Hampshire to Naperville to the Jay Leno Show. And considering the serious world politicians live in, Sen. Barack Obama and his wife are considering the risks of being in the public spotlight even more than they are now.
There sure are a lot of white people in New Hampshire...
"What you try and do is minimize the security risks the best way you can, but you can't be a public figure and not be in the public," said Democratic political consultant David Axelrod, who said he thinks Obama will make his decision to run for President in the last weeks of January.
When the Senator visited Kenya this summer, he attracted thousands of people.
...and he didn't feel threatened in a black African nation, either...
Before Obama leaves for his native Hawaii this month to spend time with his family, he sat down with Mayor Richard Daley to discuss whether he will endorse Daley's sixth term.
So what's with the subtle playing of the you-know-what card?
While he was there, the Mayor offered some advice for an Obama Presidential campaign -- should there be one.
As for Axelrod, he has notified Hilary Clinton's campaign that he will be advising Obama.
"We need to be taken beyond this jagged edged politics we've had, and we need someone who can restore a national sense of unity," Axelrod said.
Zzzzzzzzzzzz...
