UGH! The Merriam-Webster online dictionary is now a subscription service!
Miss Anony J. Mous is somewhat correct. Ol' Merriam & Webster changed the address on me. The unabridged dictionary (http://www.m-w.com/) is subscription only.
Check again--still works fine for me.
