So, you are upset because Pope Benedict XVI quotes a man dead for about 700 years who wrote that your religion is irrational and violent. What do you do? You firebomb churches (many of which are not Catholic) and you murder an Italian Catholic nun who did nothing but help poor Africans.

I think Shintoism is a false religion too, but I'm pretty sure if there were Shintoists killing innocents in the name of their religion, real Shintoists would do everything in their power to stop them.
