Her father Pasquale (an Italian diplomat) is half Italian and half Eritrean, from Asmara. Mother Soraya is half Venezuelan and half Portugese.

Moved to Italy when she was 17.
Favourite soccer team is Juventus.
Enjoys latin dancing, surfing and snowboarding.
