I think I figured out the totalitarian "logic" at work in the Jayhawk State, kiddies. While it is bad for teens to shoot other children to death in their school, it is ok for them to kill their own children with an abortion because children in the womb are property, not people.
Of course, this breaks down quite rapidly if you realize what they'll do to you if you kill your dog. Ironic and sick.

Alleged Kansas school shooting plot foiled
WIS-TV Columbia - Kansas law officials say they've foiled a plot to attack a rural high school. Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Norman says five students are in custody. He says deputies found guns, ammunition, knives and encoded messages in the bedroom of one of the suspects.
