Ok. This is the second time I've posted these stupid cartoons of the moslem "prophet". I'm doing so because the violence in reaction to them is...

...continuing. I firmly believe this crap would not happen if Arab moslems

and other moslems were free men. I believe democracy and free markets

are great leveling and mitigating forces. And who today doesn't believe

radical islam needs some mitigation? All moslem violence is an attempt to

keep the masses ignorant and full of hatred for the "other", the rich and

decadent and powerful and evil one who is keeping the poor and ignorant

moslem poor and ignorant. It should not surprise us these tactics work.

They have always worked and always will, to one degree or another. (You

and I are not immune either, kiddies.) But their effects can be mitigated.

If you think the Bush Doctrine of trying to bring freedom and the rule of

law to the moslem masses is misguided, stupid, or just plain evil, what sort

of alternative can you offer? Containment? It worked on the Soviets, you reason, why can't it work on a few goat rapists?

I guess I'm asking for someone opposed to Bushism to present an actual plan of action that will keep us safe now and decrease the danger of moslem violence in the future. Any takers?
