Ok, let's see...There's permitted speech and impermissible speech...and speech that sounds ok but isn't because of who's speaking...

...and then there are clever marketing campaigns from Hollyweird PR flacks trying to build word-of-mouth momentum before Oscar time rolls around...

KIROTV.com: Gonzaga Students Asked To Stop Yelling 'Brokeback Mountain'

Fans of No. 5 Gonzaga have been asked to stop yelling "Brokeback Mountain" at opposing players.

The reference to the recent movie about homosexual cowboys was chanted by some fans during Monday's game against Saint Mary's, and is apparently intended to suggest an opposing player is gay.

Wait just a minute here. Being a sodomite is a good thing, right? (All the really smart people say so.) Why should anyone be upset when someone is accused of doing a good thing?

Would ostensibly Catholic Gonzaga be upset if basketball fans chanted "Philanthropic giver!" or "Hospice volunteer!" at opposing players? I should hope not.

Of course, if homosexual acts are mortal sins...

Ha! Where did that come from?
