Forbes hates Fyodor...

...and all the other denizens of Bloggerdom.

I just got around to reading a recent Forbes Magazine article that hysterically spewed hate at all things blog.

It seems a significant number of bloggers are ignorant, hate-filled liars spreading hate and lies about companies, politicians, journalists, and anyone who disagrees with them.

Well. What can I say to that?

How about "Welcome to the human race, you pinheads!"

I'm not going to invoke our American traditions of pamphleteering, muckraking, and negative campaigning. I'm going with the Simpsons.

Do you remember the Halloween episode where all the billboards and giant advertising mascots came to life and rampaged through Springfield?

Only Paul Anka had the solution. He knew the only way to get rid of advertising was to ignore it and he wrote a jingle explaining this to the people and, sure enough, the town was saved when people looked the other way.

Now, I'm no Paul Anka. And I sure didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. But it seems to me the solution to this "blog problem" is the same: Just Don't Look .

Pay no attention to the ignorance, evil, hate, lies, spin, et cetera, and they will lose their power (if indeed they ever had any) if not disappear completely.

In a word, kiddies, use good judgement.
